Junior Ride for Zimele
Status: Active Project
Zimele by the Youth is organizing the first ever Junior Ride for Zimele to raise funds for orphans and vulnerable children in rural South Africa to have opportunities to learn and enjoy baking, dance, art, soccer, and netball. While the adults bike from New York to Maine to fundraise for Zimele, children of any age can ride (or walk, scooter, swim—anything!) right from their homes — and make a difference too!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
First, sign up here:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdapN9FfLklVA2FUPewSaIoecrn-Ic8Fhd9CGZQ1-uYklfbkA/viewform
The GOAL is to BE ACTIVE, fundraise, and raise awareness for kids in rural South Africa!
Bike (or scooter, walk, run, swim!) every day for 5 days — from Saturday, August 9 to Wednesday, August 13 — and tell the world about it! Tell family, friends, and neighbors, and ask them for their support!
All ages are welcome to join!
After you register, you will receive more details. Please feel free to contact Leah at volunteer@zimelecommunity.org with any questions!
